Dates and daily details
In Calendar, select a date, then tap it again to open its details. The date card shows Gregorian and lunar dates, the year cycle, month/day cycles and zodiac.
Almanac and seasons
Today and date details show traditional favorable/avoid references, the day's deity, double-hour ratings and calendar information. The almanac has no separate bottom tab. The current solar term is shown even when today is not its start date; seasonal markers change with the date.
Viewing the sky
With a sky entitlement, view the local meridian chart, luminary positions, daily and upcoming events, Moon phases, rise/set times and solar-term transitions. Tap a star official or celestial body to select it; tap again to deselect.
Tap the city in the chart to change location. Today follows the current time; other dates start at local noon. Expand the time controls to adjust the date or hours, minutes and seconds and watch the chart change.
Setting anniversaries
In Reminders, add a title, date and repeat rule. Lunar reminders follow the chosen lunar date. If that date does not exist in a given period, follow the handling shown in the App. After enabling notifications, the system schedules local reminders under your rules.
Sky notebook: historical texts and observing notes
Historical sky texts is a local reader with searches by phenomenon category, keyword and historical work. You can enter from a sky event or selected star officials or luminaries. Source passages and annotations retain their characters. Expand them to view context, original dating, work, volume and source. Word matches are references only, not an automatic identification of the same event or a conversion to a modern date.
Observing notes stores text, photos chosen through the system picker and meridian chart images saved in the App. Content stays in on-device IndexedDB, with no upload or cloud sync. Clearing App data or uninstalling removes the records.
Tools, appearance and external URLs
Use a red light, dark-adaptation timer and telescope tools, with a red or green appearance. Custom tool or historical-text URLs open in a separate system browser window. External pages cannot read local notes or anniversaries. Third-party sites follow their own terms and privacy rules.
Accounts and entitlements
The App account entry is under More → Accounts and entitlements. Mainland China account services are not yet open, and this website does not accept passwords. Once available, the relevant pages will explain registration, sign-in, sky access and device management.
Privacy and settings
Anniversaries and display preferences are currently stored locally. Edit or delete them in the App, or manage notification and installation permissions through system settings. See the Privacy policy.
